Nana

I have so many wonderful memories with my Nana. I was truly blessed to grow up in the same city as her, which meant we got to spend so much time together with her and Tata, especially during the summers or whenever my parents had to work.

Some of my favorite memories are the simple ones: walking to the school playground, climbing trees, painting rocks, playing tetherball, and running through the slip-n-slide. We would crush cans, go to the grocery store together, and spend hours playing dominoes, Monopoly, or lotería. No matter what we were doing, she made it fun.

She helped me grow a nectarine tree, something that meant so much to me and is still a reminder of her love, patience, and care. She also made our saint costumes for school, putting so much time and heart into them.

Nana always made sure we had all of our favorite snacks and drinks, and she created a home that felt warm, safe, and full of love. Those moments may have seemed small at the time, but they are memories I will carry with me forever.

It was a privilege to grow up so close to her. She loved her family so much, and I will miss her deeply.

So impressed that her grandkids really knew how to express their love for their Nana. Truly beautiful.
